Preparations

All hunting is done on foot using the "walk and stalk" method. Under no circumstances may animals be taken from the hunting vehicles. These vehicles merely transport the client to the area where he is most likely to find the trophy he is searching for.

This however, means that a reasonable amount of walking is done in a day. Clients who are not very fit or whose age would require them to take it easy, are thus reminded to take this into consideration when deciding on the duration of their hunt. Please note that for ethical reasons we expect hunters to be reasonably proficient with their rifles. We do not allow hunting with calibres of less than .243 Win, and would recommend a calibre of at least 30-06 for most species. Hunting will only take place half an hour after sunrise to half an hour before sunset, with a break from 12.00am to 2pm at the hunter's discretion. Please note we allow no hunting under the influence of alcohol.

Medications and Health

The area is deemed a malaria free area. Anyone wishing to extend their safari by booking into the Kruger National Park is advised to take the necessary anti malaria medicines. We would also recommend clients take out full medical insurance to cover their safari.
